(fm) V průběžném pořadí GIC 2012 po 5. závodě patří týmu Winjay ISC Praha vynikající 4. místo. Pouze týmy EOSkates, Swiss Skate Team a GB  Racingteam, tedy týmy od kterých se podobné umístění před sezónou očekávalo, se umístili před překvapením letošní sezóny Německého inline poháru, před českým týmem Winjay ISC Praha.

Lze však očekávat že poslední závod celého seriálu v Kolíně nad Rýnem (14.10.2012) celkovým pořadím ještě zamíchá (výsledky posledního závodu se násobí koeficientem 1,2 a jeden závod se nepočítá), i tak se však dá premiérová účast amatérů z Prahy považovat za velmi úspěšnou. Tým, který si před prvním závodem stanovil skromný cíl "nebýt poslední a učit se od těch nejlepších", je před závěrečným závodem jen krůček od medailového umístění, což jen posiluje jeho prestiž v zahraničí. 

A jak tedy vypadá celkové pořadí týmů (muži) GIC 2012 po 5. závodě?

Zajímavý je i pohled do individuálních statistik, kde je však situace ovlivněna tím že ne všichni členové týmu se zúčastnili všech závodů. Zde je aktuální pořadí mužů (kategorie Speed) po 5. závodech:

Jak je z výsledků patrné, situace okolo 58. místa je velmi vyrovnaná a lze tedy očekávat tuhý boj o body v posledním závodě seriálu v Kolíně nad Rýnem.

In the overall ranking of GIC 2012 after 5th race is Winjay ISC Praha team in the excellent 4th place. Only teams like EOSkates, Swiss Skate Team and GB Racingteams, teams that were expected to be in top 5 before the season, are ahead of the biggest surprise of this season of German Inline Cup - Czech team Winjay ISC Praha.

It's expected that the last race of the whole series in Cologne (14.1.2012) will stir up the overall team ranking significantly (the last race resultas are multipled by coeficient 1.2 and one race is voided). Despite that fact we can rate the premiere season amongst best inline skating teams in the world for the team of amateurs from Prague as a very successful one. The team that had a simple goal   "not to be the last team and learn from the best skaters in the world" before the first race is now one race before the end just a small step from the medals and it's something that definitely brings the attention to the whole club.. 

And what is the team (men) overall ranking GIC 2012 after 5th race?

Individual statistics can also show us a very interesting view but the situation is a bit complicated by the fact not all skaters participated in all races. Here is the men (Speed) individual ranking after 5th race:

As we can see the situation around 58th place is very dramatic so we can expect a very tough fight for points in the last race of the series in Cologne.
