RYCHLE A STRUČNĚ  (fm) Koncem července se v Berlíně konaly jako každý rok  oblíbené večerní závody Berlin Vatenfall City-Nacht a náš oddíl byl opět při tom.

V inline závodě na 10 km v kategorii Speed si z našeho oddílu nejlépe vedl Jaroslav Zíka, který časem (00:16:38) vybojoval 21. místo. O něco hůře pak dopadl František Míček, který cílem projel v čase (00:17:01), což stačilo na celkovém 25. místo.

Vítězem závodu se stal časem (00:15:43) německý závodník Markus Pape.

V ženském Fitness závodě jsme pak měli naše želízko v ohni v podobě Daniely Veverové, která v konkurenci téměř 200 závodnic vybojovala časem (00:21:15) krásné 21. místo a následovala tak Jardu ve virtuální soutěži "oko bere".

Vítězkou fitness závodu žen se stala časem (00:18:32) Elisabeth Ninotta.

V následním večerním běhu na 10 km se na startu objevili jak František Míček, tak i Daniela Veverová, aby bojovali o co nejlepší umístění v tzv. kategorii "doppelstarter" - tedy v kombinaci inline závodu na bruslích a běhu. František Míček doběhl desetikilometrový závod v čase (00:39:36), což stačilo na celkové 185. místo v konkurenci více než 4 000 závodníků, a v celkovém pořadí kombinace skončil na celkovém 5. místě. Vítězem se stal Rus Pavel Ryzhikov, který běh dokončil v úctihodném čase (00:36:03).

Daniela Veverová doběhla v čase (00:58:04) na celkovém 2 846. místě a v kombinaci jí patří velmi slušné 9. místo. Vítězkou kombinace se stala Claudia Maria Henneken.

Late July was the date for the popular Berlin Vatenfall City-Nacht race annually held in German capital of Berlin. We are very pleased to inform that our team was also there!

Jaroslav Zika showed solid performance as he finished the 10 km Open men race in time (00:16:38) and grabbed the overall 21st place, followed by Frantisek Micek who finished in the 25th place in time (00:17:01).

German skater Markus Pape won the race in time (00:15:43).

Daniela Veverova was our only skater in the women Fitness race. She did really well and amongst nearly 200 other skaters finished in time (00:21:15) in the overall 21st place, succeeding Jaroslav Zika in a virtual game called "21".

Elisabeth Ninotta won the women Fitness race in time (00:18:32).

Frantisek Micek and Daniela Veverova also appeared at the start line of the following 10 km evening  run as they decided to fight for the best overall place in the so called "double starter" category where inline race time and run time are added together. Frantisek Micek finished the run in time (00:39:36) that was only enough for the overall 185th place amongst more than 4 000 other competitors and in the "double starter" competition finished in the 5th place. Pavel Ryzhikov from Russia won the "double starter" category finishing the run in a very solid time (00:36:03).

Daniela Veverova finished the run in time (00:58:04) in the overall  2 846th place and in the combination grabbed solid 9th place. The winner of the "double starter" category was Claudia Maria Henneken.
